Fall Home Decor - But Not Pumpkins!

Listen, I love a good pumpkin display as much as the next gal, but I also love adding pieces to my home that transition from summer to fall without all the orange and burgundy and navy. The pieces that I’ve picked out for you today are surprising, soft, and not the usual fall suspects!

Nothing says fall like a cozy blanket, and this sage green chenille throw fits the bill perfectly! Soft and squishy and such a great transitional color!

Speaking of soft greens and plushy textures, how perfect is this pair of chairs? If you’ve been wanting to update a room or add some soft conversational seating, consider these little beauties! The texture of the fabric is perfect for fall!

This sweet little vase with faux eucalyptus is a great way to keep some greenery while transitioning from your traditional summer florals.

The textures on this mirror just scream fall to me! It’s probably the most traditional “fall” colored item I’ve got on my list today, and would be such a fun piece to spice up an entryway or gallery wall.

Okay, this little beauty is a pretty traditionally fall colored item as well! It will add a great bit of texture and fall color to your sofa or favorite chair!

Alright, here’s where we really diverge into non-traditional fall! The soft green was inching over the line, but pink? Definitely not a traditional fall color, but the textures are perfect for cozy-ing up your space!

The wood buttons and traditional stripe make this oblong throw pillow stand out! Perfect for your couch or bed - can’t you see it layered with the pink and tan floral pillows?

Let’s bring in a little more pink with this lovely candle from the Dave and Jenny Marrs line! Make sure to check out the whole line, there’s also a maple scented candle that is sure to invoke those fall feelings!

This isn’t the first time I’ve shared this tray, and it likely won’t be the last! Style it with the faux eucalyptus and the pink candle (and heck, go crazy and throw a mini pumpkin on there if your heart desires!), and you’ve got a lovely fall centerpiece!

A perfect way to welcome in the season of gratitude, while still hanging on to a little of that summer vibe, the pink roses and Blessed script will remind you to be thankful for the changing of the seasons as you come and go.

I warned you that these were definitely not traditional fall colors, but I think that making a slow transition from summer to fall can be fun (and help you hold on to those summer vibes just a little longer!)…don’t get me wrong, I can’t wait for Sweater Weather, but there’s no reason to rush it, right?

xoxo,

Angie
