Normally I try to get these videos out before the school year begins, but this year that just wasn’t going to happen! And as it turns out, I think I like this way a bit better - it gives me an opportunity to actually use the curriculum for a little while so I can give you a more well-rounded description and early review of how it’s working for us!
Whether you’re just dipping your toes in the water with your little one in pre-k, or are full-fledged diving in with a high school aged child, I’m excited to share with you what we’re using this year. We have made a lot of changes, and have had to flex and shift because of the changing needs of our children and our family - and isn’t that just the wonderful thing about homeschool? We get the opportunity to meet our kids where they are, give them those early wins to keep them encouraged and engaged, and then push them towards more challenging material as they are ready - and we get to slow things down and not worry about whether or not our child is “keeping up”. Each of these three videos will cover the curriculum we’re using for our three different age groups - and I hope you’ll find some encouragement and ideas for your own children. Remember though, YOU are the expert in your child - and you know what they need better than anyone!
