Our Story

(The Cliff’s Notes Version)

God called us to adoption in 2011.

Congo was impressed on our hearts in May 2011.

We got “the call” for Noah in March 12’ (he was born 11/11/11)

I flew to Congo in July to pick him up

We arrived back in the states on August 17th as a forever family!

In late 2012 we decided to begin adoption #2. This time, we felt led to domestic adoption.

We were matched in February 2012, and began preparing for the arrival of a precious baby girl in May. Sadly, that adoption fell through, as the expectant mother decided to parent. We love them both dearly and wish only the best for them.

We were matched again in the fall of 2013 with a “stork drop” baby. And we just finalized his adoption in May 2014!

Now our family looks like this…

But God wasn’t finished with us yet. In April 2015 He led us to a little girl across the ocean, her name is Rosie. She is 4 years old and has been blessed with Down Syndrome.

I met her on December 28th, 2015

And brought her home to meet her whole family on January 7th, 2016!

Our story is no where close to over! So stick around, cause we just never know where God will take us next!

I absolutely love your story! I began to cry a little when I saw the picture of your beautiful family. You most certainly are caring for the orphan! I have many questions for you. How can I communicate with you? I don’t want to have it in your comments section here unless you want to…
Be blessed as you are being a blessing! May the love of Jesus continue to pour into your heart as you love on those children.

The story of your family is so inspiring… I hope I will be just as caring mother for my kids as you, If someday I will have kids and I will be strong enough to adopt a child from another country. You are very brave and caring and that’s just amazing.
